Church History:

ACC is truly a community church; it was founded by a group of believers who first assembled together at the Tarkio School. From this group two church plants were began in the early 1980’s. One to the west in Superior and at the same time, to the east, Alberton Community Church. Scores of people from Alberton and the surrounding area followed the leading of God. They were able together to purchase new opened land sold by the Milwaukee Railroad. God, through unique opportunities and His grace provided the funding and materials. Side by side, the community came together to erect the now existing church building.

Mission Statement:

Touching the life to impact the world: is the mission statement of ACC. We strive for a twofold balance: 1.evangelizing the lost and 2.disciplining the believer. Evangelism, we strive to share clearly the simple good news that Jesus is the guarantor everlasting life with God to whosoever; 1.believes 2.in Jesus 3.for everlasting life. Nothing can be added to this simple message being stated so many times in the Bible; John 3:16; 6:47; Acts 16:31; I Timothy 1:16… Disciplining, we strive to give the believer room to grow in their own individual way. We assist by providing open Bible teachings as we minister to one another, our community and the world around us. Our worship services, Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and outreach ministries are always promoting these key principles.

Local Ministries:

There are several things that individuals from our church do that aren’t listed here. Ministry & Outreach is a way of life. In our community needs come up all year around. Most of us try to be ready for what ever comes our way. Each one of us is created uniquely by God to minister to the people that He sends to us. Sometimes it’s being a listening ear & handing someone a cup of coffee. Sometimes it’s chopping wood, or feeding somebody’s horses because the owner is too sick to go out & feed them, or it could be plowing the snow out of a neighbor’s driveway. Sometimes it’s watching out for older people in the community who don’t have the strength or the mental capacity that they used to. Each new day come with it’s own unique challenges & opportunities for reaching out to somebody. Through those opportunities, doors are open for presenting the Gospel of Christ. Most of our people minister in this capacity all year long.
