PROJECT GABRIEL!

Project Gabriel is a ministry that reaches men and women serving in the military with the gospel eachyear at Christmas time.

Donations, given in the form of an order pay for a celebration CD, The Living Waters which is asmall book that contains the entire Gospel of John, a Gideon’s soldiers new testament, a personal Christmas greeting and a self-addressed postcard to encourage them to write back to us. We answer each letter and postcard we receive and some of them keep on writing. They love sharing and are given hope knowing they are in our thoughts and prayers.

Pray for Project Gabriel as God anoints His Word and prepares hearts for each package that will be placed into their hands this Christmas. The kickoff letter will be mailed out in July explaining Project Gabriel in detail. If you wish to be involved in this ministry please email your name and address to Alberton Community Church, P.O. Box 143, Alberton, MT 59820 in care of Lynn Taylen. Below are a few of the return postcard we have received back from men and women in the service.

My name is Jonathan Weller. I am a specialist in Iraq, and I received one of your care package through Marez Memorial Chapel. I just wanted to thank you for the cd and care package. It means a lot to me and to us that people care enough about service members to send packages. May God bless you immensely! With Love, Jonathon M. Weller, SPC, US Army

Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas,
As far away as we may be in body, I believe this Christmas we shall spend in your hearts. Thank you for the care packages. It helps so many soldiers what you do. Most people focus on the “Package” and not the “Care”. You’ve happily done both. Thank Ryan especially for blessing us with his worshipful music. That does myself in particular a lot of good where it counts, my soul – John

Brothers & Sisters,
I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how much your support and prayers mean to us. I know that you’re aware of the difficulties involved with us being so far away from home. I hope you know that your efforts help to bridge the miles and bring home to us here. Again, thank you and God Bless! PFC John Land

Thank you for the Gospel of John and the C.D. It made Christmas away from home a little brighter. Its comforting to know, that there are people out there that I have not met, yet (one day in heaven I know I will) that care and have gone through great lengths for us overseas. Thank you, Terea McCreg, KBR Contractor

I just wanted to say thank you for your gift. I listen to Christian music at night to help me sleep. It also helps my focus on Christ who is my strength each and every day. The CD you sent is perfect for that and greatly appreciated. Thanks again for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers! God bless! Chief Promutieo, USAF
